I finished Blood Promise and I'm mad. Why am I mad? Because I finished it and now have to wait for the next book. I can't wait that long. The last fifty pages I was on the edge of my seat and turning each page just waiting to see what would happen next.
Like I said before, read Vampire Academy. Repeat after me, I must read Vampire Academy. I'm not sure on which one is my favorite yet looking at the academy series and the diaries series. Both beat out Twilight though for sure. I also love the True Blood series, but I'm looking at the young adult books for this category.
In Blood Promise, Rose goes on a mission. To kill the man she loves. Of course there are obstacles in the way, but she works through them with a few oh no she didn't moments. We do see her friends back at the academy. Which was nice, but I wanted more of her and Dimitri. Even after this book though, I'm still not sure if she should be with Dimitri or Adrian. I thought for sure I would know.
Also when we found out about her father, I didn't see it at first, but I figured it out later on.
Can't wait to see what Richelle Mead as in store for us next.
Not sure yet what I'm reading next. I would normally go to the next book in a series if I was reading one. But I think I've hit a vampire overload. I'm going to have to explore the books and see what is calling my name.

Supernatural
I know I should have blogged this last night, but I'm sure you will forgive me, lol.
Loved Supernatural last night. Well actually that's silly. I love every episode. This one was the first one where Dean and Sam are apart. We knew it was going to happen. You know Dean says he's doing fine, but we know he secretly misses Sam or at least he will by a couple episodes. A lot of the show deals with the brother's relationship. You can't keep those two apart forever. (I hope.)
I can't believe Sam is the vessel for Lucifer. That should be an interesting storyline. I wonder if Cass knows. I also wonder how Dean would react. Could that drive the two brothers further apart?
All I know is by season's end the storyline will be finished. They always planned on a five season storyline and that was all. I would be happy with a season six though.

Shadow Kiss
Finished Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead. Oh my god, I was on the edge of my seat by the end of the book. I love my friend, but when she called me and I had to stop reading, I honestly said out loud. Oh come on! I also had to stop for Supernatural of course.
I normally go back and forth from book series to book series. I need change and don't want to get bored by the series if I read each book straight through. But now I'm thinking I can't do that. I have to read Blood Promise next. I'm afraid if I read it though, I'll want more and as far as I know the next one doesn't come out until next year. It's the joys of reading a book series that hasn't been completed yet.
I don't want to give too much away for this one. I think everyone should go into this one spoiler free. I almost want to tell my friend to tell me the spoilers for Blood Promise, but I know I can't. I will just have to read it myself.
I do have to say I'm torn between Adrian and Dimitri. I like both of them. I might just be happy with whoever Rose ends up with.

Bus stops
I love when I start sounding like my parents. Have you noticed how a bus stop for a school is now the driveway? When did kids become so lazy? Although technically it's the school's doing I believe. What makes me sound like my parents is what I said to a co-worker today. I remember walking down the street to catch the bus. I can picture my parents in my head saying, I walked this far in the snow. Am I getting old??
It drives me crazy when I have to stop every other driveway so a bus can pick up or drop off kids. Why can't they meet at the corner anymore??? Aren't they finding ways for kids to be more active??
Okay, that's all I really had to blog, lol.

All Together Dead
I did finish All Together Dead. This one was better than the last one. The last one wasn't bad, but I was loving the Eric/Sookie moments compared to the last book. I can tell Sookie cares for Eric. Alan Ball, you can't deny it. Okay, maybe you can. I told my friend who is also reading the series that I'm scared. I know he is changing some of the plots. But if the show lasts up to the seventh book, I better see some good Eric/Sookie moments.
Speaking of Alan Ball, I hope he doesn't change a certain plot in season three. There is one part I love in the book and yes it involves Eric, haha. I can't wait to see how they do season four.
Going back to the book. Quinn of course, drove me crazy. I was really hoping this would be the last of him. Fingers are crossed for the next book for him to disappear.
If you are for Quinn, you might like this book but if you are for Eric, you might also like this book. I hope in the next book she chooses.
Can't believe there is only two books left to read. Will be sad.

True Blood
I can't believe I forgot to blog about the season finale. What is wrong with me?
I was disappointed in the lack of Eric, but Alan Ball said in interview, he has his reasons. Which kind of scares me. Sure we are suppose to get more Eric next season, but if my friend's theory is right. He could be interacting with Bill more than Sookie.
Poor Jason. The guy can't win.
If there is one thing I don't like about the direction of the show is that they are making Bill the good guy. I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't read the book series, but that's not right. I still love the show. At this point, I'm trying not to think of the books as I watch the show since so much is changing.
Can't wait for next season.

Frostbite by Richelle Mead
Book two for the Vampire Academy is over and I'm sad. I don't want to say this is my favorite yet since this was only book two. But I couldn't put this one down.
*Spoilers included*
Lissa reminded me of a couple friends. She was spending a lot of time with Christian that Rose was starting to be left out. Who hasn't had a friend like that? Due to Lissa having someone in her life and now Rose, could they drift apart? I'm hoping I'm wrong. Another thing to admit we all have lost friends because of another. Let's hope it's because of their bond that it won't happen.
Speaking of the bond, I'm sure it won't happen but I wonder if something could ever break it? Or maybe not something but someone. The bond is a big plot of the series so far, so what would the series be like without it?
Rose makes her first kill or I should say kills. She wasn't ready to kill yet, this is going to change her character a lot in the future books.
I do recommend this book, heck the series. I'm looking forward to reading the third one. I have a feeling when the fourth one ends I will want it to be May 2010 for the next book. I believe that's when it comes out. Don't rely on me, I could be wrong.
Up next, Charlaine Harris's All Together Dead.

Vampire Diaries/Supernatural
So I watched Vampire Diaries. It is definitely going to be different from the book series. I'm a huge fan of the book series, so I have a feeling I will be yelling at the TV when they change stuff. They already did. Vickie and Matt are siblings? Bonnie is not even Bonnie from the book. She needs to be so I can see her with Damon!!!!! I hope they have scenes together. Elena has brown hair. In the book they always talk about her blonde hair. That is definitely a major change. Plus she has a brother. In the books she has a sister and she is 4. I'm sure I'll be noting the differences throughout the show.
Damon, he was hot!!! But he does look too old. Ian Somerhalder is going to be 31. Maybe it's me, but I can't see him as a man in his early 20s. Or should I say vampire in his 20s? I'll look past that though, he is going to make a great Damon.
Stefan is cute, but we know I like Damon even in the book. I do like my bad boys, which brings me to Supernatural, lol.
It's going tobe a great season for Supernatural I can tell already. Love that Meg was back. Poor Sam though, Dean is so mean. Okay I guess I can understand why Dean is upset. But I have faith my Sam will redeem himself. :)

Definitely Dead
Finished book six of the Sookie Stackhouse series. This one is titled Definitely Dead. So far this is probably not my favorite. I guess if you are team Quinn you might like this one. But for me, who is team Eric, I would have been team Bill if it meant getting rid of Quinn. I just don't trust the guy. If there is one thing I would like the series not to do is the Quinn storyline.
We also find out why Bill was in Bon Temps in the first place. Oooh, I hope they do that plot on the show. Right there would be some good drama, lol.
Judging by this book, I can see the Queen will be around for awhile. Which is fine. I didn't mind her at all.
Next up FrostBite, book two of the vampire academy series by Richelle Mead

Melrose Place
So I watched Melrose Place. I really don't know yet. It seems like one of those shows I will record and get to it whenever I can. I just couldn't get into the pilot too much. Maybe next week I will change my mind. At this point I say bring back the original cast.
90210
This show is definitely a quilty pleasure of mine. It's not the original and could never be the original. But I like it. Makes my life in high school seem boring, lol. Spoilers ahead from the season premiere.
I don't trust the new guy. I think his name was Terry? My mind just went completely blank. He is definitely bad news. I have a feeling there will be a storyline with him and Silver. Did you see the way he looked at Annie though? And they focused on his license plate. Hmm, makes you wonder. Does he know what she did? Going back to Silver. How could Terry do that? Did he not realize Dixon was Silver's man? Or did he do it on purpose? Guess we will have to wait and find out.
Liam is back, woo!!! I hope he stays.
Annie is reminding me of Brenda.
It's definitely going to be a good season. I did record Melrose Place, but didn't watch it yet. I'm sure I'll post my thoughts on that one.

10 Things I Hate About You
So I watched the season finale of 10 Things I Hate About You and I will say this again. It's a cute show. I can see why most people won't like it. I just want to say it's not the movie. It will never be the movie. If you don't like teen shows, this show is definitely not for you. It is on ABCfamily, but again the show is cute.
I'm always interested to see how each character will develop. With the movie playing in your head, you expect so much but yet it never happens. Kind of like True Blood. You wait for a certain part of a book and the whole thing is changed in the TV series and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it.
I always look at each plot different and see how other people interpret their views.
Anyways, getting back on track. This episode definitely left a cliffhanger. I do like the storyline for Kat and Patrick. I would love for them to be together, but it can't happen. The two actors chemistry works well together yes, but it's the will they or won't they that makes you love the two together. If the two got together right away, the show would have to end. I know by the end of the series they will be together, at least I assume. It's the what happens in between I like.
Bianca and Joey has to happen. The guy playing Joey is perfect. The only problem I have is, he seems to nice. That's not Joey from the movie. I know I said things are different, but they should at least stick to some things. Maybe he will be later in the show. When the modeling gets to his head.
As always I can't stand the guy playing Cameron. That's the actor I wouldn't have picked for Cameron. I'm sure the actor has done some great roles, but this one does not suit him at all.
Hope the show comes back for another season.

Vampire Academy
As always spoilers possible
I finished the first Vampire Academy book by Richelle Mead. If this one was good, I can't wait for the others. Must finish Definitely Dead so I can get to the second one. I loved Twilight, but the more Vampire books I read, I can't decide which one is my favorite. I guess I love them all, lol.
I'm always interested in how each series will differ. I love the idea of Dhampir, Moroi, and even the Strigoi. You have the guardians and half vampire which are the Dhampir's. Moroi's are vampires who have a special ability of some sort. The Strigoi are the mean ones. They are the immortal vampires.
We see the book through Rose's eyes. I like how we are still in first person, but she is watching Lissa's world without being there. It's the special bond between the two that makes Rose see and feel Lissa's emotion.
Dimitri, oh Dimitri. I can tell I'm going to like his character. At least I hope so. Will have to read the other books to find out.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next three books. Usually when my friend emailed me and told me she finished Blood Promise and wants the next one ASAP.

Dead As a Doornail
So I did finish Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris. This is the 5th book in the series.
This book was okay, but not my favorite. Maybe because it didn't focus on our vampires as much. It focused a lot on the two natured; shifters and were's. We meet Jackson Herveaux, Alcide's father. I have to say I like Jackson better than Alcide. Alcide got on my nerves in the other books and in this one he got on my nerves even more. I just wanted to yell at him. Pretty much like Bill.
Again, I wish there had been more Eric. He still doesn't recall the events of what happened to him and Sookie. Man, do I wish he did. Hoping he does in the next book. *Fingers crossed.*
I'm for Team Eric, but this book made me okay with the fact that there was an opportunity for Sookie and Sam to move a step closer to each other.
We meet a new vampire, Mickey. Won't go into too much detail about him, but he's not a nice guy. We also meet Charles who works for Eric.
I already heard about Quinn's character so I know what to expect, but with the introduction of him in this book, I can't see him as a love interest.
Also Claudine and Claude return for this book. I'm guessing by what we saw Sookie do to Marianne on the TV show, we'll see these two soon. I'm wondering what actors they can get to play the twins. The way they are described in the books, we will definitely need to see some hot actors filling those shoes.
Up next is Definitely Dead.
Look for a post on Vampire Academy coming to a blog near you.

And another chapter ends
So today was not a good day. I know I owe a review of the latest Sookie Stackhouse book I read. I promise it will come. I was actually going to work on it tonight after work, but too much happened.
I go to lunch today and can't help but notice all these chairs that hadbeen set up. Actually I wasn't the only one. Two of my friends who were sitting with me were trying to think of a reason. Something was definitely up. You could feel it in the air with the supervisors. Finally 1:30 rolls around. The supervisors come out of a meeting and tell us to make busy on our phones. A few of us walk to the breakroom knowing something is definitely not right. We never have meetings wherethe whole center is involved. There is at least two hundred of us in the breakroom waiting for the meeting to start. Again the supervisors are giving ogg a bad vibe. No one wants to smile. We all just look at each other, knowing what's to come. Yup, it came. Out of the three call centers for my company they are closing ours. The doors will officially close the 31st of October, but our last day will be the 30th.
Not sure if they told everyone in the center. I know one friend of mine went home sick and she got a call later in the evening from one of our supervisors. One of my teammates is on his honeymoon, so when he will find out? Who knows.
I will definitely miss the friends I have made there and hope to keep in touch.
I'm keeping faith something will come along even if it's retail.
I did make a joke this evening with my mom. Now I can really sit down and work on my first novel. :)
