Partners In Crime

I finished Partners in Crime today which I read for #tuesbooktalk which can be found on twitter every Tuesday at 11. We finished this book this week but in two weeks we will be starting The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. I'll let you know for sure when we are starting the discussion and how many chapters we'll be doing at a time if you're interested.

Anyways. I've read a few Agatha Christie books but never Partners in Crime so I was definitely looking forward to this one. We get to meet Tommy and Tuppence who work on solving crime and are also husband and wife. This book consists of different short stories so it's not focused on just one case. I kinda liked that we had different cases going on.

I think what I loved most about this book was, I didn't see it being a certain person as the one in trouble for whatever they did. But than again, I'm also one of those people who can have stuff easily go over their heads, lol.

I'm not really sure which story to focus on since I loved them all. All I can really say is, read the book. You'll love it if you're into mysteries, Christie, or even the classics.

TAKEN FROM GOODREADS
Who is the beautiful actress whose trail leads to a perfectly staged murder? What are a mother and daughter to do when a haunted house becomes their deadly inheritance? Where better than a costume ball to conceal the identity of a masked killer?
Tommy and Tuppence Beresford adopt the methods and manners of every major literary detective from Hercule Poirot to Sherlock Holmes to piece together an increasingly complex series of delightfully different-and deadly-misdeeds.

The credits to the series that you can find at Netflix and I'm sure Blockbuster. I can finally watch the discs now that I've finished the book.

  2. This was actually our first book to discuss. We use to do topics but now are doing books. We're aiming to do different types of books. I need to confirm with Michelle but not next Tuesday but the next (3/23) we're meeting again to start discussing The Little Stranger. Which I believe is just general fiction.
I'll keep you posted when I get more news :).
