I recently finished Rogue by Rachel Vincent. Sorry it took so long to get this posted. It's only the second book but it's another series I'm really starting to love. I'm anxiously waiting for the third book to arrive in my mailbox.Faythe Sanders who is a tabby or werecat is now working for her father as an enforcer. She still has the scars from the last book with her encounter with Miguel. Naturally life can't be easy for her. Someone is killing strays and it's up to Faythe, her father the Alpha, and the rest of the pride to find out who is behind this. It only gets worse when she finds out what happened to her ex-human boyfriend.
I always enjoy the books that show the heroine being a strong character. She has her moments but Faythe is growing up as we see in the second book. The first book changed her and the second book made her grow even more. I'm curious to know how she grows in the next book and so on. She'll definitely have a lot of growing up to do after the events of this one.
Am I Team Jace or Team Marc? At this point, I'm not sure. In the first book, I was leaning a little towards Jace. This one, it was Marc. I always love when a series does that when you have to go back and forth on who you want the character to be with.
Sounds like both men are a winner. :) She must have a really hard discission to make between them. Great review. I have been wanting to get to this series... someday. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see where she goes with the two men. This was only the second book, lol.
