Thank you to Kathleen McKenna for giving me the chance to read The Wedding Gift.We come to Oklahoma and meet Leeann, the prettiest girl in Dalton. She goes to see Mr. Willets about a school funding. By the end of the evening, she sees George Willets. Next thing you know she and George are married and moving into an old family house. Not just any old house but one that has seen murder. Robina Willets killed her children and husband before she killed herself.
Next thing Leeann knows. She is hearing voices and seeing ghosts. Is it Robina? What might she want? Well Leeann might just have to find out.
In this book you get some paranormal but also some mystery. Just when you think you have it figured it out. You don't. Definitely check it out if you're a paranormal and mystery fan.
The southern dialogue was very interesting. I could actually hear someone speaking in a southern accent.

I've heard really great things about this - that it's dark and scary, but it's also hilarious, and one friend told me it's "literary" in its brilliancy! Imagine! Guess I'd better get myself a copy of that.
