Are you looking for a new book blog? New or old? Come on over to Book Blogger Hop and meet some great people. To join in the fun and learn more, click here. :)This week's question:"What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"
For me? I guess if I had to choose, it would be the latest Vampire Diaries book. I use to love the first set of books but the last two have been kind of annoying to me. I'll probably read the next one, just to see where it goes but it's bad when you enjoy the TV show over the book.
The review, I was maybe nice about it when I shouldn't have. You usually don't see negative reviews from me because I'm one of those who put the book down if I can't get into it. So the book is never finished. I always try though to finish.
You?

I have a hard time writing a negative review as well. It takes a lot for me to put a book down though. Took me a long time to give myself permission to do that!
ReplyDeleteIt is always a must to be honest in reviews regardless of how they came out. With all the answers that I am seeing it really shows that everything depends on a person preference in how they will love or hate a book.
ReplyDeleteDropping by from the hop. Visit me at Clandestine Sanctuary to know my answer. I am already a follower. :)
Have a great weekend.
Just hopping through on the Blog Hop and thought I would say "Hello". So, Hello :)

Old follower hopping through. I have yet to read any of TVD books.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I love Vampire Diaries, but I thought the last book got a little silly. Just too many plot twists. I still can't wait for the last book tho.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
For me it was Charlaine Harris "Dead in the Family". I love the Sookie Stackhouse series, but it pained me that the most recent book didn't have as much as the others. It was all over the place and incohesive. I don't usually write bad reviews either (I think my taste is exceptional LOL!) But even if a book is bad, I still try to finish, praying and wishing it gets better, but sometimes that doesn't work. I have never read The Vampire Diaries, so I don't know what to say about that. But it stinks when you are so use to something from an author and then feel like you are being dragged through the mud :(
