Never Tempt Danger

The first book of the year that I'm going to mention is Never Tempt Danger by Denise Robbins.

Every once in awhile I do like to sneak in a book that doesn't involve vampires, witches, werewolves, etc. Never Tempt Danger is a romantic suspense and I think many of you will like it.

Maureen is working on a project with her boyfriend Jimmy. One day, Jimmy pulls out a box that involves a certain ring and before she knows it, Maureen sees Jimmy's future and it's not a good one.

Despite her vision of his death, there is nothing she can do. He's now gone and it's her mission to finish their project. All she has to do is avoid the people who are out to kill her. But do they want to kill her? Maybe they want to use her.

Don't worry though, she's not alone. She has her ex-boyfriend, Lucas. Who isn't exactly over her. He'll do anything to protect her, especially now.

I really enjoyed this one. I do have to say though, there were a few predictable parts but I think I only predicted a few things because with all the books we read or movies we watch, you get a sense of things. That didn't stop me from enjoying the book, I was still left wondering who was after her.
