Grimspace

So as you know, Melissa and I had a discussion on the first book in the Sirantha Jax series. This one was Grimspace by Ann Aguirre. I'm a fan of her other series, so I was excited to start this one. Definitely look for Melissa and I to discuss more books in this series.

The first one, we meet Jax, a jumper. She has the ability to take space ships to other places. She can't do it alone though. Of course she needs a pilot. She had one. His name was Kai and he was someone special to Jax. She has no choice though but to move on from Kai, especially as she stays inside the corps grasp. The corp is hiding something from her and making it look like it's all her fault for many deaths.

Soon though, she finds a way out and with a new crew. One crew member named March. Is he good enough to replace Kai as a pilot or much more? What happens though when the corp goes after her? They won't stop until she is back with them or worse, dead. She might need March and her new friends to help her out of this mess.

I really enjoyed the connection between Jax and March. I can't wait to see their relationship develop, if it does. *Crosses fingers*
