One Grave at a Time Thoughts

One Grave at a Time is the latest in the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. As always I have nothing bad to say about this series.

We pick up right were we last saw Cat, Bones, and the gang. Cat is dealing with a death of a family member and she still has the power of attracting ghosts, thanks to Marie.

Cat and Bones meet Elizabeth, a ghost who needs their help. What is their mission? To stop Heinrich Kramer, a ghost who accused women of being witches and killing them in his days as a human, but wait. Could he be killing women as a ghost in present time? It shouldn't be hard for Cat to kill Kramer as a ghost right? Well lucky for her, he turns into a solid body once a year for Halloween.

Not only do they have to deal with Kramer but there is trouble back at the compound and his name is Madigan. Madigan is someone who sees things differently. Why he is working at the compound when he doesn't care for vampires? I don't know. I'm curious to know more about his character.

I think with each book in the series, I love Bones more and more. Also loved that we got to see Spade and Denise. Those two are my favorite couple in the series after Cat and Bones. Ian, you gotta love him. I'm still crossing my fingers we get an Ian book.

We have their Christmas story in The Bite Before Christmas that is already out. I'm trying to wait until it's closer to Christmas to read it. Definitely not ready to be in the Christmas spirit yet. Either way I can't wait to read it and will wait patiently for book seven to come out.
