The latest adventure in the Mortal Instruments series is City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.We pick up from City of Fallen Angels where Jace and Sebastian went missing. I won't say anything else in case you haven't read the previous book.
The Clave don't care about the well being of Jace. They want to see Sebastian dead. If Jace has to die. So be it. Those who do care for Jace want to save him and if it means risking their lives, they'll do it.
Clary finds Jace and Sebastian. Well actually the two boys come to her. She'll play along to save Jace, her love. Sebastian? Who cares if the two are brother and sister?
While Clary is trying to save Jace, the rest of the gang work together to find a way to split Jace and Sebastian apart. A mission to destroy the bond that is keeping them together. Is it worth it though? Should they risk their lives to save one person?
Sebastian has a plan in action. Can the gang stop him before he destroys the world? Will good overcome the evil that is coming?
Loved this book and can't wait until the next one. Hope we don't have to wait a long time. You are definitely left wanting the next book. Darn you cliffhangers!
