So Melissa and I have completed Shadows Before the Sun by Kelly Gay. If you haven't read it, please do so. It's a great series. If you have finished the book, please feel free to join us in discussion.

Melissa's
- What powers do you think Hank will end up with? Seems like there was a hint he'll be able to teleport?

-What is Leander? He touched a sword he should not be able to touch, and his powers are out of this world. Who or what do you think he is? I have my suspicions.

- What more is coming? And could it already be here?

-Why does Leander want Ahkneri dead?

Robyn's
- Was it me or did it seem rushed that Hank was cured so quickly? I know he was healed but I don't know, I felt like it went too fast.

-Do you think we'll find out who the killer is or will the Droid King still be bugging Charlie to find the killer when the next book starts?

-What other powers could Charlie develop? Is she done getting powers?

-Will we ever find the cure for Ash?

Hey all! Melissa and I are back to discussing books after taking a month off. We're discussing Shadows Before the Sun by Kelly Gay this week and the next two weeks.

- Is it just me or does it seem suspicious that there was no scent of another at the murder of the nymph? Who do you think is responsible for this murder?

-Do you think the shadow creature that comes to Charlie's powers, the Sachath, will show up? Is that the "shadow" reference in the title?

-Do you think Charlie will call on the Elder in this book for the favor? To help Hank maybe? Why not ask her help now?

-What do the Circe witches get from the Malakim? Powers? Youth? What, to keep this going on.

Robyn
-What do you think the fate is for Charlie, Hank, and Sandra?

-Do you think the murder at the beginning will be connected somehow to the plot of the book or could that just be a filler or better yet, a plot for the next book?

-How did Charlie end up at Hank's family home. Was it just luck or is there a reason?

-Is there a cure for Ash or is Leander lying?
